Optional Marketing Permission

1. Uses you may authorize

If you check the optional public-demo and marketing choice for a specific clip, you authorize SightSweep to reproduce, edit, crop, caption, and display that clip in SightSweep demonstrations, its website, social media, presentations, and promotional material. The permission is non-exclusive, royalty-free, and limited to communicating about SightSweep. Ordinary editing must not deceptively represent performance or imply a safety guarantee.

2. Personal appearance and attribution

If the clip contains your own identifiable image or voice, your optional choice authorizes its use only as part of the permitted clip presentation. It does not authorize a fabricated endorsement, materially misleading quote, or public disclosure of your private account email. SightSweep should obtain separate approval before associating your full legal name, personal medical history, or a specific testimonial with a public campaign.

3. Other people and content

You can grant only rights you hold. This checkbox is not a release from a passenger, pedestrian, minor, property owner, copyright holder, or another identifiable person. Before publishing, SightSweep must check the needed permissions and consider blurring, muting, cropping, removing metadata, or declining the clip. Private conversations, recognizable children, copyrighted music, and sensitive locations require particular review.

4. Scope and distribution

Online material may be viewed worldwide and reshared. SightSweep may use necessary hosting and production service providers for a permitted publication, with appropriate limits. The permission does not authorize selling the recording as a stock asset, licensing it for unrelated advertising, or using it to endorse a third-party product.

5. Withdrawal

You can turn this choice off in My clips or submit a Privacy request. Withdrawal ends new marketing uses prospectively. SightSweep will assess reasonable removal from channels it controls and will not treat the permission as irrevocable. Copies distributed by independent third parties, printed material already distributed, or archived captures may be beyond practical recall. Rights required by law remain unaffected.

Deleting a clip removes the portal source and signals withdrawal. Before publishing any future copy, the owner must check the current permission and maintain a publication record so later requests can be handled. The current portal records choices and does not publish clips automatically.

6. Compensation and acceptance

No payment is promised unless separately agreed. Declining permission does not block a tester account or internal-development submission. The choice is recorded with the clip reference, account identifier, agreement version, and time. Permission must remain current at the time of a new use, and additional rights must be obtained where necessary.
